Read below a Press Feature from just before I was selected for the Paralympics.............

'The Paralympics aren’t over; in fact for Ben Sneesby the Games are just starting.'
I started mono-skiing when I was around 11 years old and quickly fell in love with the feeling of freedom and speed as well as the fine details of being able to ski well. I skied for a few weeks every year while I was at school, taking the opportunities of school holidays to go and do the sport I love. However, in 2009 I became the first member of the Youth Development Team representing Great Britain. From then on I was addicted to the training, I have wanted to become the best skier I can possibly be and on completing my A-Levels in 2012 I made the decision to become a full time athlete and train for as much of the 2012/13 season as possible.
During this season my skiing has come on ten fold and I am now competing at Europa Cup level in Speed events, Super G, Super Combination and Downhill. I have been named on the Long List as a potential athlete to go to Russia, Sochi, next year and compete at Paralympic level.
This has been my dream ever since I was 11 and started mono-skiing and now this dream is quickly becoming an achievable goal.
With the coaching and training I am experiencing at the moment, the progression I have achieved this season and the support from my family; I have almost everything I need to fore fill my potential and achieve my goal.
Financial support for equipment, travel, accommodation, race fees and more is however in short supply. I am currently lucky enough to have the backing financially from Mears Group PLC and Get Kids Going but unfortunately this does not cover my season costs.
Please look around my site and feel free to contact me if you feel interested or think you could help me find some additional support.
Thank you.
